We locals think of West Charlotte County as a laid-back refuge from the fast lane. But don't let that fool you. This is an exceptionally active community with many exciting events. Here are a few outings where I brought my camera along.

Our community enjoys a wealth of retirees. Many of them are from what many of us consider to be "the Greatest Generation".  They provide a wealth of character, determination, and inspiration.

Meeting these folks has forever turned my conception of retirement completely upside down. Our retirees are exceptionally active and have truly redefined the meaning of "retirement". -Brett Slattery
